I am beyond excited to share my recent feature in the Georgia Straight article, “Welcome to the collaborative world of Vancouver D&D” by Chandler Walter. In this captivating piece, Walter delves into the vibrant and inclusive world of the Vancouver Dungeons & Dragons community, highlighting various individuals and their unique experiences within it, including yours truly.

It’s truly an honor to be recognized for my passion and contribution to the local TTRPG scene. The article captures my enthusiasm for games like D&D, and how it’s not only become a prime part of my social scene, it’s also an essential part of my identity. As The GM Tim, I strive to create safe, welcoming, and diverse environments for players to explore and grow through these incredible storytelling experiences.

The article also touches upon some of the projects I’ve been involved with, such as season 3 of Lost Voyages, a Star Trek-themed live-play show on Twitch, and the Drag D&D show Fierce Adventures, which we hope to find a new home for soon, and the D20 Cruise.

D20 Cruise is one of the newer events to feature me as a DM. This unique event combines the thrill of tabletop RPGs with the luxury of a cruise vacation, offering a one-of-a-kind experience for RPG enthusiasts. As a featured DM, I have the pleasure of running a trilogy of games, I specifically wrote for this event, while sailing from LA to Cabo. It’s truly an honor to contribute my passion for TTRPGs to this incredible event and be a part of such an amazing adventure at sea.

One opportunity that I’m particularly thrilled about is participating in the D&D in a Castle event at Lumley Castle in the UK. It’s an extraordinary four-day luxury vacation, where guests can immerse themselves in a unique D&D experience in a real castle. With world-class Dungeon Masters, fine dining, and a host of activities, it’s a dream come true for any TTRPG enthusiast.
