Fierce Adventures is a live drag show that combines the fierceness of Vancouver Drag with the epicness of D&D.

While this show is unique in Vancouver, and a long time dream of The GM Tim’s, we were not the first in the region to do it. We were given blessings to on the show Queens of Adventure from Matt Baume. We added inspiration from the live Dungeons & Dragons improv Critical Hit Show, which has been performing every month for 10 years in Vancouver. Finally we added the actual drag numbers into the game as play the characters/performers do. Fierce Adventures was born.

The show is a mix of Dungeons & Dragons at the table—having characters, using dice, playing through a series of encounters, and creating a story as you go. The performers play their characters both on the stage and in the game. The drag numbers the players perform during the game are integrated into it—they choose songs that match up with an action they want to do or some ridiculous event they come up with at the prep. Finally one of the key elements is the audience. They have the ability to change the game by purchasing bonus and negatives they can hold up any time a number is said on stage—this is how Slay Lame ended up with a crowbar of healing. The audience is also regularly called on for names, accents that The GM Tim can ruin, and even how to deliver the killing blow to an enemy—which is how Shay Dior “yeeted the head” off a sleeping red dragon.

Upcoming Shows!

We are VERY excited to announce our first show back since the-before-times! Friday, July 22, 9pm, at Café Deux Soleils. The cast are playing new characters, there will be new villains, new accents and voices for the audience to make The GM Tim ruin. Fun will be had by all.
