Root is a really cool area control board game where the different factions have different win conditions. Everyone has the same action economy and takes turns together, yet the style differs if you are playing the Eyrie or the Vegabond, for example. This game has a bit of a learning curve and is a bit difficult as a Pickup and play. Nonetheless, solid game and lots of fun.
