What is a GM?

A roleplaying game is a type of game where players assume the roles of characters in a fictional setting, often working together to achieve goals, solve problems, and explore the game world. The game is typically guided by a game master (GM) who controls the narrative, presents challenges, and arbitrates the rules.
Do I need to be good at acting or improvisation to play RPGs?
NO! While roleplaying games involve some level of improvisation and acting, you don’t need to be a any kind of actor to enjoy them. Players are encouraged to get into character and engage with the story, yet the level of roleplaying and acting varies from group to group. It’s all about having fun and being comfortable with your play style.

How long does a typical game session last?

How do I improve as a Game Master (GM)?

Adapt to player choices, enhance your storytelling, and maintain a good pace. Seek feedback from players, learn from other GMs, and continually refine your skills. Most important, be willing to make mistakes and learn as you play!
